Somewhere between a Belgian Strong Blonde and Belgian Strong Dark - let’s call it a Belgian Strong Amber! Spicy and phenolic notes dominate the nose, with banana esters tying it all together, and the warming malty character of the beer shows off the 7.7% abv well, without seeming too boozy.
